The 2013 Budget plan!

The 2013 Budget plan!

I do apologize for this being so late, But better late than never I always say! Here is what I worked on in July :)
I most definitely wrote the budget….. but things have definitely taken a turn. Many things have changed in the past month. I’m making way more money than I would have thought I’d be making right now, and I have two kittens now, so we have to worry about vet bills so the budget will take into affect when school starts in September. I worked over 12 extra hours this month…. which may not seem like a big deal, but when you are working 40 hours a week already….12 hours is plenty extra.
I did go through most of my clothes and belongings, but right now it is a matter of getting the bags out of my house and to value village.
I have been writing a lot, as I did write a game plan for “A place for the out of place” I’m super excited to note that I I actually see the end of my book now, and its in reach! I just need to write some extra meat for the plot and some things to tie the stories together!! Positivity all around, I even have people to edit it! Which is a first.
All in all, July has been insane, I wish I saved more money but I have everything in the works so I guess I owed myself something for getting my life together this month! But then again I could be justifying my money spending because I have a problem! (Something else to work on!)
I’m going to publish my budget plan as well as my writing plan so I have motivation. Feel free to send me messages pushing me to follow the plans! <3 Might help contribute to my books publishing date.

I most definitely wrote the budget….. but things have definitely taken a turn. Many things have changed in the past month. June ReCap:

As June draws to a close, I can’t help but wonder where it went! I feel like just yesterday when I wrote my first day of June post. But there is a lot of great progress to report.

* 7 month plan for 2 works: So heres the deal. I drafted two plans, two pretty solid outlines for two pretty crazy works, but I don’t think I want to rush it anymore. I think I’m going to just focus on one work for this year and once it is finished to my liking, I will think of continuing my second. But for now… im going to dedicate this year to one piece. For the sake of privacy and the lack of copyrights I will not be posting information on my piece until I need editing or opinions.

* 30 Day Yoga Challenge: This has been placed on hold until a better month!

* 100 Books: I read 4 pretty amazing and insightful books which I previous posted about!

* Make a plan for the Zine and for AwkwardBoots: These projects have been placed on hold for reasons which will soon be discussed.

ONGOING:
* Save money: BREAKING NEWS: I got a full time job in an office! Which is partially the reason I haven’t been around on here keeping you guys updated. But don’t worry, things will get better once I’m used to the routine! But the money is great the people are great and I work with my boyfriend now, so its wonderful!

*Write 1 article, and 1 reflective piece a week: I wrote one article this month, and realized that my heart isn’t really in a place to write journalistically. I ache for creativity and for imagination, and I don’t get that from writing articles.

* Write letters: Didn’t have time for this. I sent a bunch of important emails though…

I feel like June was fairly successful, I’m excited for July and all of the progress I’m going to make. I have been mostly spending time making new friends and getting comfy at work!

Here comes my July plan!

June Update: Scratch the Yoga

So, my 21rst birthday was on May 30th. That night a whole bunch of people came over and took me out to a bar downtown to see a really rad rockabilly/psychobilly band called the Matadors. At that show, this dude came up to me and my boss who also has red hair, and told us that we were cute and that we look like twins….I am already spoken for and so is she so it was awkward when he decided to hit on both of us. We were dancing to an awesome cover of the time warp, when the awkward man tried to get between us and he stepped on my foot and rolled my ankle… so what I thought was a sprain, turned out to be a minor fracture… and we are going to have to postpone my yoga challenge… which is unfortunate because I was really excited about it! Oh well! Things happen! Roll with the punches I guess!
